We are pleased to share with you our experience of participating in two prestigious recruitment events: The Job Fair of the St. Staszic Academy of Mining and Metallurgy in Krakow and the Internship Fair of the Swietokrzyska University of Technology. These are two exceptional events for Dyckerhoff Polska, as this is the first time we have decided to take part in such a significant fair, presenting our offer of internships and employment opportunities.

Our decision to participate in this fair was supported by analysis of data and expert opinions.  According to research published by the Harvard Business Review, participation in such business events brings more benefits than other forms of promotion. This data confirms that business fairs are an extremely effective tool in attracting potential employees and building relationships with customers.

The AGH Job Fair took place on March 19, 2024 at the Studio Club in Krakow, while the Swietokrzyska University of Technology Internship Fair was held at the Energis Building - Faculty of Environmental Engineering, Geomatics and Energy, on March 26, 2024. Our company was represented by two 4-person teams, which consisted of both managers, specialists and an HR representative.

Our goal during these events was not only to present our company as an attractive employer, but also to better understand the current needs of the labor market and the expectations of potential interns. First, we encouraged our company's managers to identify their needs for summer internships, which allowed us to better prepare for these events. We were delighted with the interest in our offerings, and had the opportunity to meet and talk with both potential future interns and employees who showed interest in our company.

The AGH Job Fair was very popular, with more than 5,000 visitors, students and graduates. It was an excellent opportunity to make contacts and build business relationships. Our company was one of about 120 companies represented at the fair, which testifies to the importance of this event for the academic and business community. It is worth mentioning that a total of about 40 companies from the region, including Dyckerhoff Poland, appeared at the Swietokrzyska University of Technology Internship Fair.

We are grateful to everyone who visited our booth and became interested in our offer. We would also like to thank the AGH Career Center Team and the Academic Career Center of Swietokrzyska Polytechnic in Kielce for organizing these events and providing us with the opportunity to present our company.
