Bookcrossing in Dyckerhoff Polska
On the Booksellers' Day, celebrated in Poland on 13 December for 89 years, we started a great action called: BOOKCROSSING IN DYCKERHOFF.
Bookcrossing is an idea of a free-of-charge transfer of books by leaving them in public places so that the finder can read them and pass them on. With this initiative we would like to popularize reading in the company and promote our company library. Besides, bookcrossing makes it possible to share the joy of reading with another person.
Therefore, if any of our employees has books at home which they have already read and would like to discover new titles, they can bring their books to the reception desk in the office building in Nowiny or send them to the head office. In return, he will be able to choose a book for himself later from the newly created resources. Importantly, our campaign will run until the end of January and will allow us to release the books, to circulate them more widely and give them a second life.
