Summary of the Inauguration of the Academic Year 2024/2025 at AGH

On behalf of Dyckerhoff, we are very pleased to express our gratitude for the opportunity to participate in the Inauguration of the Academic Year 2024/2025 and the Faculty-Industry Forum, organized by the Department of Materials Science and Ceramics Engineering. This remarkable event was a unique opportunity to celebrate together with the entire faculty community: staff, students, doctoral students and partners from the scientific, economic and social sectors.

Our presence at the inauguration was a great honor for us. We are especially pleased that we had the opportunity to contribute to the event by donating promotional materials that were intended as gifts for first-year students, including those who achieved the highest results in the recruitment process. Supporting the development of young talents who may in the future co-create innovative projects in our industry is particularly important to us.

We also took part in the Faculty-Industry Forum, during which the topic of “Synergy of science and business environment, and the dynamics of change” was discussed. The discussions during the forum were inspiring and provided many valuable insights into cooperation between science and industry in the context of today's challenges. Importantly, industry-university partnerships play a fundamental role in stimulating innovation and economic growth. Initiatives undertaken as part of such cooperation are mutually beneficial - for both the scientific community and businesses - building a solid connection between the academic sphere and the real needs of the economy.

We sincerely thank the AGH University of Science and Technology for the invitation and the opportunity to participate in these unique events. We believe that our involvement will further strengthen the cooperation between Dyckerhoff and the scientific community.
