The report on sustainable development.
Dyckerhoff Poland takes into account ecological, economic and social factors in all its activities in a responsible manner, thus contributing to corporate social responsibility and sustainable development. Our task is to achieve harmony in the implementation of economic, social and environmental protection. We regard sustainable development as a social responsibility, and also as a factor in the long-term success of the company. Not only does sustainable development contribute to the economic success of our business, but it also creates value in kind, and reduces the variety of business risks for the Company.
For several years, we have been preparing the data for the annual report of the company Buzzi/Dyckerhoff on sustainable development.
We joined the group of enterprises reporting by the methodology of international reporting guidelines (GRI) in 2015, for the first time in the latest version of the G4.
Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) is an international non-profit organization that develops and takes care of the reporting guidelines of responsible business and sustainable development. They provide the international standard for reporting on corporate responsibility and sustainable development for enterprises.
The aim of the GRI reporting principles is to create the accepted framework for reporting the economic, environmental and social aspects of the organization. The guidelines take into account practical aspects of the different types of organizations, from small businesses to organizations/international companies conducting their operations around the world. The latest version of the guidelines for reporting G4 broadens the range of social reporting in the area of stakeholder engagement in the process of creating a report, highlighting the role of the value chain and selection of content that should appear in the report regarding their relevance.
