On Friday, November 4 this year. We had the honor to host the Director of the District Mining Department Ms. Marzena Rabiasz and the Superintendent of the District Mining Department Mr. Norbert Borowiecki.

A meeting of representatives of the District Mining Department in Kielce with the social labor inspector, occupational health and safety service and management and supervision of the mining plant was held at the open-pit "Kowala" mining plant.

The subject of the meeting was to discuss, among other things:

•     the state of accidents and hazardous incidents in mining plants, including the causes and circumstances of incidents and accidents occurring in mining plants within the local jurisdiction of the Regional Mining Department in Kielce,
•     the most common irregularities and deficiencies found during inspections of open-pit mining plants,
•     activities aimed at reducing the impact of harmful and arduous factors on health in the work environment, including through the implementation of methods that enable optimal selection of effective and non-hazardous personal protection equipment.

Dyckerhoff Poland also had the opportunity to present in numerous presentations the current situation of the plant and the measures taken at the plant to improve occupational health and safety.

The meeting was organized as part of the implementation of the goals set out in the "Strategy for the operation of mining offices for 2021-2023" and the work plan of the District Mining Department in Kielce for 2022.
