On a hot September Wednesday, the Dyckerhoff Poland Cement Plant had the honor of hosting an extraordinary person - an outstanding Polish Footballer - Mr. Włodzimierz Lubański.

The legendary player of the "Górski's Eagles" is the Patron of the Sports Championship High School in Nowiny, and on September 12-13 he personally came to our Municipality for a visit. As part of it, he honored the celebration of the School's Patron's Day and met with the local community.

As part of the close and friendly cooperation between our plant and local institutions, Dyckerhoff Poland had the opportunity to co-create the scenario of this unusual event. On September 13, Mr. Włodzimierz Lubański, together with his spouse and the hosts of this important visit - the Head of the Commune Mr. Sebastian Nowaczkiewicz and the High School Principal Mr. Łukasz Ubożak - visited our cement plant. We are honored that we could at least briefly present our modern plant to such a distinguished delegation.

The Guests had the opportunity to see a demonstration of blasting work in the Kowala quarry, which was personally narrated by the Plant Manager, as well as the "heart of the plant", i.e. the Central Control Room, where, in turn, the Guests were accompanied by our Production Manager. As a souvenir for the Crew, Mr. Vladimir left his autograph on the board. At the end of the visit, the Guests took part in a meeting with the company's Management Staff.
